Hello, I'm Andrew!

About me

Hello 👋 I'm Andrew Locke.

My passion for problem solving, leadership and mentoring surfaced during my collegian career and continued to grow as I explored the world of education. I am driven to impact systemic inequities and have found a calling in being an agent for change and an advocate for justice.

I truly believe that the opportunity gap in education is the most pressing social justice issue of our time. Closing that gap will take extraordinary people across all industries doing incredible work every day to change students' lives for the better. By opening the doors of college and providing greater access to technologies, communities are transformed and the cycle of poverty can be interrupted.

As we continue to see the integration of technology in our daily lives, there is an ever growing need for conversations centered around equity and access. I was driven to join the programming community so that I might play a role in contributing to and facilitating those conversations. I continue to strive to support the growth and development of future leaders, creatives and problem solvers entering the programming world.
